Question Happy & curious

Hi I was just wondering if it is normal or at least ok for an axolotl to be born with 1 eye one of mine was (out of the 494) and I was just wondering if it changed the life span or anything? It has been a year since he (or she) was hatched though. I attached an image I think Iím not good at this yet lol.

Default Re: Happy & curious

It happens. It may or may not be the result of other genetic problems that we can't see, so his life span may or may not be affected. Sorry I am so vague, but we just can't know.
