Hey all,
I'm expecting to receive some T. Dobrogicus tomorrow, and I'm unsure what the best way to acclimate them to their new tank is. I've only been able to find information about transferring newts from a bag of water to a tank, but these will be arriving in a styrofoam cooler.
The tank is 70-80% water with a fairly moist haul out. The water is room temperature and stays pretty consistently at 70 degrees. Should I put a little bit of water in the cooler, or just plop them on the land area and let them get in at their own pace?
