Hello!
a few months ago my CFBN started to lay eggs and now i have a lots of little larvae, most are just over 1 cm but one of them really stands out, he is probably almost 3 cm and ive been waiting for him to morph any day. yesterday however he was ''a bit pale on the nose'' and I'm not joking, he really were pale on the nose... i thought it was the light so i just let it be but now today he is in a all new grey color! he was black two days ago and now I'm a bit worried! is this normal? I'm sorry i can't post any pics, my phone is broken.
thanks for the help!

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
