In September, my african dwarf frogs laid a bunch of eggs. :D
So, I thought I'd share some photos of their development with you all.

All of these pictured above are offspring (no parents are in this picture). Some eggs were laid a week or so after the first batch.

This is how big they are now, compared to one of the mothers.

And finally, this is the tank that they are in. The pink thing is a net I wrapped around the filter intake to make sure the little tadpoles won't get sucked up.

Great pictures, it's always good to see the development stages of amphibians. Thanks for sharing.

Looks like you're doing a great job !!

Kerry, I'm glad you enjoyed the photos. It's fortunate that amphibian eggs are see through! :D

Thank you, Suzy!

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
