This is my white Bubbles, he is a little skinny but has been eating like a race horse so he should plum up, the black spots on his head are getting darker by the day. He is also a nutter!

And finally my albino Peeky, She has grown a couple CM longer then him and is plumper.
Her gills are curling forward more then normal today, although a couple of them are too long for her to hold up!

Yeah they are so long, she (I refer to them as he and she by force of habbit I have no idea what sex they are) is a lot more happy than she was before I was worried for her but now she explores a lot more, and she is a very vicious eater, I'm sure she goes for my finger not the food

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
