There appears to be some kind of airstone in the tank? It's not mentioned. It also doesn't say what you feed them.

From what I've read, 2 weeks is not even enough time for a population of blackworms to double. I wouldn't call this farming, it's more like another form of blackworm housing. It may indeed keep them alive better than just fridging them.

They are reproducing in this team this isn't another setup for them to live this is a breeding tank. I feed them raw meat, shrimp pellets, and anti parasite food for fish.
The info about 2 weeks is what I can find online and what I have notice in my black worms tanks. I find tons of small black worms each week so they are multiply for sure.

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
