Hi Salatriton!
Try to feed him with his natural prey, that means worms, snails and insects you find in your garden, given nobody uses any type of pesticides in there. Offer him a variety of prey items, so he can choose himself. You can also buy live worms of all types, crickets a.s.o. in pet shops.

Hope that helps
Greetings
Tom

thanks for the advice.
But in my town stores do not sell live foods ....
the only food that I can find in stores fishing are worms and maggots.
otherwise I have to go to Catania for the mealworms.
there is also very cool to find bugs in the courts ... but I'll try with snails

I know that all the food out of the normal diet, then chicken or fish, should be given raw ... it's appreciated but freeze before the food, so as to eliminate possible parasitic
