I have recently noticed that most of my salamander larvae now have algae or some other thing growing on them. so far they are not exhibiting any signs of sickness and none have died. still this is worrying as it covers the gills and most of the body excluding the head. i am almost sure they are long toed salamanders and they are only maybe 6 weeks old so not to big. does anyone know how to cure this or if this is fatal? i can supply pictures if needed! thanks
