Reputable online newt/salmander vendors in USA?

All that comes up for me is stuff like Backwater Reptiles, which has a bad record, and more like that. Anybody know any good vendors?

Me; but I don't ship during the Holidays; or in the winter below freezing. Anyone trying to get a live animal shipped to them during these times is begging to get a dead newt.

Thanks, but I would like to point out that I said nothing about shipping immediately. To clear things up, I posted this two weeks ago and there was no snow where I am (there is now :(), and I know I did not mention it, but I'm looking for vendors for the future. I am not intent on setting anything up right now as I don't have too much space. I will also definitely check you out, though.

    with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

    Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

    Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
