Raised as a larva, now in a planted tank with worms, springtails and woodlice. Growing fast, charming, shy pet.

We've had rain and flooding, and I found another in our cellar basement, covered in cat hair, dust and cobweb in the upper 'dry' area (I check for amphibians during floods).

Let it soak for a second in spring water, peeled the layer of 'fur' off, and she's as good as new. Now my smallmouth has a tank mate. I'm finding a ridiculous amount of small earthworms, and have an aquarium set up for breeding them too, so plenty of food over the winter.
