Hey guys!
I moved recently, and while I get settled, Afish is stuck in her travel tank. We've been here about a week and as far as I can tell, she doesn't seem to be eating anything I offer her. She's had more minnows than I'd like because I had to go out of town, but since the move, she's rejected both worms and fish. The tank is a bit hard to keep clean because it is so small but she had a full change when I put her in.

Can you post a picture of the axolotl and tank? Have you been able to test the water as well to make sure it's all okay? Has the axolotl pooped at all?

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
