My new Baby Golden Axolotl

Here is my new baby, he is soo cute only 4cm. He is living in one of those big flexi buckets until he gets bigger as my adults would eat him, His name is tango :D I cant get a closer picture as my camera is rubbish =/

Sunnys been in my green flexi tub a few times, just got to clean out the left over horse feed first....

Thank you everyone for your kind comments =] I got him from Billyjames on this forum. Ill try to get sum better pictures when my bf sets my camera to the right setting

    Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

    Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
