Got my axolotl

After my tank finally cycling arfter 3 months I got my gold axolotl and named him Ace at the moment he is just swimming and walking around exploring his new tank and I will feed him tommorow anybody got any things I should look at for like signs of distress he’s just passing around the tank right now

The two main signs of a stressed axolotl are gills curved forward, and a curled round tail tip. Especially among young axolotls, the gills can curve forward because the water flow is too strong.


Also if he starts floating around, it can be a sign of stress, or constipation. But that's up to you to determine why it floats :p
