Video of Tiger Salamander Larvae

That's cute! I like how Zinc seems to be dancing and following your finger.

By the way, I have the same aquarium decoration. I can't use it anymore because the plants got spotty and mildewy and the "log" paint's seal broke on it somehow and it got algae in cracks in between the glaze where I could not brush it out.

I hope yours lasts longer!

Very nice video. I like the music selection as well.

Thanks, especially with the tips on my fake log! I'll be sure to watch out for any deterioration that may occur. :) (They sure like hiding in that little log though, hehe.)

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
