Not sure if I ever posted this video. I had to repost it on youtube because I lost my other account.

Here's a video I made about some basic care and information I thought was important. Please feel free to critique it. If you come across anything negative or that you don't like please comment here or send me an inbox.

Any suggestions for my next video?

Oh my gosh, your Axies are so cute!

I think one thing I would have liked to hear is how to tell health. For example, I've read that gills can come forward and tail can curl if stressed. Having information like that can be valuable for newbies like me, who learn better by watching videos rather than reading everything(which I still love, don't get me wrong!)

By the way, no Axolotls here until our house is built. I found the tank set up part very useful! I'm looking at tanks now to figure out what tank I think I want. I'm torn between getting a 20 gal or getting something larger. Knowing me, I should get something larger, haha!

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
