I have an English translation of the following article:

Observations on the reproduction of Necturus maculosus maculosus in captivity
By Jean Raffaelli
Bull. Soc. Herp. Fr. (2000) 94: 25-27

If anyone wants a copy, email me.

Hey Jen, I'd love to have a copy of that article, but I cannot aquire your address because it is hidden. If you could send it to me at UberKyle@gmail.com that would be fantastic. Thanks!

I'd like a copy of this as well if you still have it. Thanks so much!

Wow, dug out all the way back to 2005! I still have it, and I'm posting here so that the link to my profile will work. To request, please send a PM or e-mail. If you send a PM, please include an e-mail address where I can send the article.

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
