I like the pics with his mouth wide open! Nice axie!

Very cool 'tunnel of doom' shots! It's pretty rare to catch those on camera, lol. If only the axie was in focus and not the pellets :p

LOL I love those pics with his mouth open, very handsome indeed .

I'll take more in focus!!

Here!!!!!! I've got a High-Speed camera that can take slow-motion videos and snap quick pics. I would upload some insane videos if i could. But i can't figure out how? Maybe you guys can help me? Some videos are a fast as 420 frames a second. Just say "1" and imagine 420 pictures being taken in that one second. They are pretty cool.

I actually love these photos! What a beautiful axie.

I am very excited for this upcoming Saturday. I am getting a new gfp melanoid axolotl at an expo. I was wondering if all gfps eyes are green. Or can they be gfp and have normal eyes. And do all gfps glow the same, or do some glow a little and some glow a lot? Is it a black light that they glow under?

Nice work on the videos and pictures! He's a cute little guy :)

Those photos look fantastic.

I just took a very amateurish photo of Axle on a hot summers day in his tank. We have had a hot summer and i have decided to buy air-conditioning for the whole house rather than just a cooler for his tank. That way we will both be cool (or warm in winter)

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
