Disappearing posts?

I have made a few posts recently that have disappeared - why is this?
I think I know why - someone doesn't like what I'm saying so they are using the 'report' button.
Do they get automatically deleted when someone complains? Hardly fair if the comment is valid.

No. The report button simply brings the post to the attention of the Moderators/Admins. If the thread or post is found to be in breach of forum rules and/or if it contains any objectionable material, we will either edit or delete as appropriate.

As a courtesy, we usually let the poster know if his or her post has been deleted.

You can contact the Moderators if you feel something has gone 'amiss' and we can investigate for you.

Thanks Jacquie. I was just concerned because it always seems to be the same OP. I'll be in touch with mods if I have concerns :)

    Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

    Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
