Hi everyone,

I am a vet currently doing my PhD (vet genomics and oncology) and preparing for my membership exams in Lab Animal Medicine at the Australian College of Vet Scientists (MACVSc). I have future plans to obtain specialist registration in Lab Animal Medicine.

However, in Australia and I believe in UK (MRCVS) as well, Lab Animal Medicine is not offered up to fellowship and thus there are no training programs for specialist registration.

As such, i am keen to find out of any universities/ research organisations in the states or in europe that offer a residency/training program for a fellowship or diplomate in Lab Animal Medicine that would ultimately permit registration as specialist. I would prefer the program to be conducted in english.

I would greatly appreciate any information, website links or contacts you can kindly offer. Feel free to private message, email or contact me via MSN messenger (available on contacts page).

Thank you and regards.

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
