Been a long time since I've posted here, I do apologize for that. To give everyone an update, we are currently sight-seeing in Israel, although we leave tomorrow. Once we leave Israel however, we will be getting our stuff down to the port and move back to the USA. I am very excited for our move, as I may be able to own and take care of animals again, although time will tell. I do have photos of wildlife from this region though, which I will be posting shortly, or when I find the time. That's it for now, and I can/will answer any questions anyone has

Just as an update, we have made it safe and sound with our things. Very happy and excited for what's to come, but very tired right now ;). I still will be busy in the coming days though sadly, at least I will be home and visit a new area!

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
