Hi
I'm setting up a new tank and have thought of some interesting design ideas which are semi aquatic, can anyone advise me on which newts would like this , it is quite a small tank 2' x 1' x 1'.
Also are there any salamander species that would appreciate a semi-aquatic environment.
Many thanks

C.orientalis or C.pyrrhogaster would do well in a semi-aquatic environment and are quite hardy. There are probably many others, I'm just not thinking hard enough.

As for salamanders, none that come to my mind would need a semi-aquatic setup although, I'm sure there are a few that would. Tank size is also somewhat limiting.
