Illness/Sickness: PLEASE HELP! Something unique? I don't get it anymore!

I wouldn't worry about taking your axie on the train. I have to take my axies on a bus several times a year. I pity them, but they are hardy and barely seem bothered!
I pop them in a large fish bag each, triple sealed with rubber bands, and sit them in a cooler bag.
Even when they have been wounded or are sick, they manage okay :)
so if you have to hunt down a vet by train, you'll be ok!
Hope things get sorted, looks awful for your poor axies.

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
