Fantastic video! That has really made my day. What is the last thing you are feeding them (I think the first two are tbifex and bloodworm - is that right?)?

The order is the following: frozen brine shrimp, frozen bloodworms and live grindal worms.

I enjoy your photo very much, one of my newts doesn't want to eat at all after 1 month i kept in my aquarium, may be I will use your method to feed them, who knows it will works.....:rolleyes:

By the way, the second juvenile has become aquatic too ! and it's a male.

My first egg laying and I got a pair, female and male :_)

    Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

    Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
