Hey everyone!

My name is Tasha, I’m from Cambridge, England. I got my 2 little babies a week ago now, and I’ve been addicted to this site from day 1 of wanting the little axies!
I’ve finally got them and I think they’re settling in just fine ?
Toothless (around 5.5/6 inches) is the black one, Fluffy (4 inches) is the leucistic one and I’m in love! I’m assuming they’re both around 5/6 months old?!
Any advice for caring for new axies would be greatly appreciated ?

Thankyou!!

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
