Where would my hobby be without Caudata.org?

I think im addicted to this forum ,im on it daily

Yep, me too! I do have other hobbies and interests besides newts and I'm quite good at some of them, but this is the only forum I'm a member of. Ever since the day I joined people have been happy to share their knowledge freely and help me whenever they can, even close to the bone discussions in the off topic section are handled in a way I've never seen before, with nobody getting angry of offended. You don't get that anywhere else.
Long live Caudata.org! :)

Without Caudata.org my two rescued tiger salamanders would be having this conversation:

Melanostictum: "Dude, I think our situation has gone from BAD to WORSE!"

Mavortium: " Yuuup"

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
