I noticed that there a few queries concerning the feeding of earthworms and the size of the worm to be fed. So, I have enclosed a couple of photos showing the possibilities.
The adult “T. granulosa” pictured actually ate this worm and had no negative side-effects. I did not make it a practice to feed such large earthworms though. I grow my own earthworms from “wild caught” stock . This allows one to choose from many different size worms – teeny weeny, tiny, medium, etc. Earthworms can be cut/torn into custom size pieces also. The "Ambystoma graciles" get medium ones, the "A. macrodactylum" the small ones, and the "Cynops orientalis" the tiny ones. You know what I mean...
