>rita, two of them didn't make it! out of 100 babies! why those! he he, but there is one left and he still has a weird mark in his head, they are about three weeks old so prob still to early to tell. I'll do my best though, don't worry I still have you in mind.
Thanks muchly. I may not be online much in the coming weeks, so my email is goshawk_2003@hotmail.com, if you could notify me of anything.
Thanks again.
A lot of color variations tend to be weaker than their normal-colored siblings. I had a axanthic offspring that passed at 3 weeks. I was rather disappointed. But it happens. Once they start growing their front legs, their coloration will probably be well seen. Keep us updated.
Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation
Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
