Hey all, I have the red eft of a Notophthalmus viridescens and I am currently building a rougly 80/20 aquatic setup for it. My question is, how do you know exactly when they are moving to their adult stage and need to be switched to entirely an aquarium?

When you say 80/20, do you mean 80% land or 80% water? For an eft, I would use a soil-based terrarium with a large water dish. You may see a change in the color or texture of its skin, and it will start dipping into the water more often when it's ready for water.

Even after it's aquatic, it should be provide with at least a small haul-out area where it can get up from the water if it wants to.
