I've had my juvie axolotl for about a week now, and every night when I feed her she's way more interested in the rubber tips of the tongs than her bloodworms. Has anyone else had an acid that does this? Or is she just a little weirdo?

When Max was younger, he used to try to eat the pipette we used to collect water samples for testing.

Your axolotl may be weird, but aren't they all! :D

Whenever I feed my axie he always nips at the turkey baster I use to get the bloodworms in the tank. I'm not sure if this is due to their poor eyesight or if he's just a weirdo lol

Could you place more bloodworms between the tongs? It might just be that the rubber-tips are more obvious than the bloodworms.
