Sunday evenings 9pm my time would be wonderful for me. I keep missing the German chat because it's 9pm Satuday nights and that's an evening for 3D visitors. ;)

If the chat hour is to be a daily thing, I could probably manage two or three nights during the week at that same time, although I'd usually have to miss on one or two nights each week due to having company.

During the week I am also here from around 8 am until 4 pm with the occasional break for running errands. So I'm flexible. Just thought, like I wrote, that if nobody else was going to venture a time, I'd pick my ideal slot. :D
Let's get some more thoughts on it before we decide anything.

Is it possible to tell what times on average have the most users online. perhaps you can make it for then, or have alternating times to suit different time zones, so everyday at 10am gmt for one week then everyday at 10pm gmt the following week (i'm not actually suggesting these specific times just using them as an example)

Perhaps those who want to chat could just let the chat run in a different window and check now and then to see if someone else has joined? Then at least the chat message at the top of other pages would not always state "0 members currently in chat". After awhile the peak chat hours would become self-evident.

Thats a really good idea. I would sign in then carry on browsing elsewhere. Quite sad to just sit there waiting for someone to want to talk to me:(

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
