Just curious what captive species have any of you actually seen consume snails ie.. pond snails and if so any digestive issues. I've only seen it twice in a kaiseri and ribbed newt. Ive fed a few to axies by hand but the Kaiser and ribbed actually stalked and ate. Oh BTW,,Oui... Oui Monsieur!

Axolotls and T. verrucosus will eat them, I've seen that many times. Some people have had problems with snails causing blockages in Axolotls I think, but I've never had any issues.

I've never seen my three alpine newts eat snails, not even small ones. My snail population has exploded before in the past, so I know the snails were going unchecked. (Population now under control with more removal and more careful feeding.)
