So I have a house gecko in the same room I keep my axies (not same enclosure!!!) And I've been noticing Xya (he's a wild type CB) and he's usually swimming and he like to be by the surface of the water, and recently I've seen him gulping in fruit flies!!! I don't know if that's ok or not, they get in there because I keep little left over fruits with my gecko and I think that they accidentally fly in to my aches fan and then land on water where they will be eaten.. so in short, is ok for them to be eating little fruit flies?

This is fine, baby newts and salamanders can be fed fruitless as part of their diet, it just won't give him much nutrition but won't harm him at all
