The fact that they are easily available at baitshops doesnīt mean itīs the best option.
By buying from baitshops you are supporting the nasty tradition of using them as bait. Also they will probably be housed badly(since they are just bait....) and will be likely to be injured, stressed or ill.
Trying to acquire one from a breeder would be by far the best option. If not possible, collecting one yourself (provided that your local laws allow it) would be a lot less damaging.(i just died a little bit inside for saying that, but itīs quite true)

Fear not, Rodrigo You are absolutely right: it is better to collect one than to buy one. Tiger sals are quite abundant in Montana.
