Another stupid question! I have been wondering about this for a while, and it's about time I ask. How does everybody buy your newts and sals from the breeders on this site? I plan on buying a beautiful Axolotl (and becoming addicted) soon, and I do not have a credit card or paypal. The driving distance is too far to retrieve the Axolotl myself, so I will have to get it in the mail.

Most sellers will take a money order sent by mail. Just send them a PM and ask. But please... don't be one of those buyers who says "I'll send a money order" and then a week later, "oh, I didn't send it yet", and then another week later "oh, are they still available"? This kind of thing drives sellers crazy.

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
