Default This is Immediate, Water Issues

Ok, I changed my water a few days ago, and their is some mysterious thing that is all colorful sitting at the top of the water. What can I do?

Could be soap has gotton into the water, that always makes it colourful.

This is a very vague description.... a "mysterious thing" that is "all colorful". It could be a range of things from a dead fish to an oil slick to a multi-colored balloon. Perhaps you could elaborate in more detailed or even provide a photo.

The typical protein/oil slick can usually be combated with water current. Though it is tough to diagnose with a vague description.

Is it a film over the top of the water? If so, it can be removed with paper towels to a large degree but to prevent it, be diligent about removing uneaten food in the tank.
