so i have a flower pot that i wanted to break a small hole in so it could be a hideaway. well, let's just say that whan i tried to break it, the thing shattered. it shattered into 5 or 6 big pieces, and if i left one out, it left a perfect hole for the axolotl to get in. i decided that i would glue it together, and found out that gorilla glue gel is okay for aquarium use. i fixed the pot, but the cracks in it kinda bother me. i want to paint over it but my local pet store doesn't sell any aquarium safe paint and i have no idea where else i can get some. do any of you know any brands that are aquarium safe? if not, would flex-seal (im desperate) be an okay thing to use?

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
