Default Bloated Fire salamander ?

Can anyone hep with a very fat fire salamander? I have 2 but have had them 4yrs and never known what sex they are. They have always had the same food, neither bullies, same substrate and both are active and eating. But this isnt normal - over the last six months he/she is enormous - yet isnt acting 'ill'. Can someone help please??
