I have a 3 month old Axolotl, i got him about 2-3 days ago, i've owned an adult one before but i was wondering how much of a blood worm cube should i give him and how often since i've been feeding him 1/4 of a cube daily.

How often and how much should i feed him, any advice would be great:confused:

How big is the axie? I'll usually feed them until they stop taking food. Adults I feed once a day but with a juvenile maybe offer food twice a day, as much as they will eat in each sitting. If they refuse the second meal just stick with one a day.

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
