Lachesism

Hi! Lachesism here. Now, this isn't an urgent question, more like an "I'm curious" sort of thing. I've recently gotten two new juvenile axolotls and I have them set up together. I've got myself one Leucistic and one Wild Type which I believe might be GFP (I bought him as a normal wild type, but he has some eery-looking green eyes). They both have little stub arms, which they've had since I bought them and I think it's pretty cute. Now, the wild type tends to flick his gills a LOT. Maybe once every minute or so, meanwhile, I don't think I've ever seen the Leucistic flick his gills. They both eat fine, and they seem to always be buddy-buddy with eachother and stay close, but I'm just wondering why one flicks his gills like there's no tomorrow and the other... Well, he just doesn't.
