Hi guys. This will probably be a final update to the coffee table idea. I didn't like the way some of the stuff was coming out so I decided to see what the LED's would look like posted to the underside of the glass. It illuminates the tank nicely (it's much nicer looking than in the video, I promise), though I'm not sure how I feel about being able to view the LED's through the glass. I think I'll either get a placemat for the top of the table, or remove the LED's, attach them to something solid and then just attach that to the underside of the coffee table. Let me know what you think and if you'd be interested in more pictures.

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
