I'm excited, because on my User CP I saw I got another positive reputation! Yay! And thank you! However, I'm sad because I can't see it on my posts. I still only have my one green dot instead of two. :( Does it take time to be able to be seen?

It's based on the number of points you have. For each green dot it takes a pre-determined amount of points to get it. Keep in mind that the amount of points you get per each new reputation depends on the reputation of the person giving the rep. Boy I hope that makes sense. It confused me just typing it out.

Justin has it spot on. The green cubes represent different levels of reputation points, so you need to accumulate enough points before you see an additional cube. The more reputation someone has the more points they give to users they approve of.

If I give you some rep, like I've just done on one of your very helpful posts ;), you'll see you now have 2 cubes because you've exceeded the 2 cube points threshold.

Keep up the good work!

Ooohhh, NOW I get it! Thank you, guys! I was curious if there were a certain amount of things needed for each cube. I gotcha. And thanks, Mark! I'm a science major and am used to doing obscene amounts of research, so upon getting my new axolotl I spent probably 3 hours a day on here for several weeks straight. Although I've only had him a few months now, I've soaked up SO much from this forum! It's totally great. I love this place, and my little Commodore Motley has benefited a lot too. :p

Hijacking slightly sorry! :p If I've read right, does that mean that, for example, if Mark gave Lindsay reputation then she would gain more reputation points towards another bubble than if another member with zero rep or one bubble added to her reputation?

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
