If Neurergus are so rare why are they so cheap?

if i bred them i would offer them at a cheap price due to keeping the species going and not for greed i think this is what other people do as well with a few exceptions

They are rare in their native ranges, but commonly bred, at least in small numbers. Like axolotls, but on a smaller scale

There are several breeders of Neurergus, and the offspring are fairly easy to raise. Price depends on how many are bred, not so much on how common/rare the newt is in the wild.

In another thread you asked why it's so hard to find Cynops pyrrhogaster in the US. They are somewhat difficult to raise, and because they are considered "common" very few breeders are interested in working with them.
