I have about 140 baby axies  yesterday there was one dead one but it was kinda hiding by the plant so I might not have noticed right away but it couldn't have been there long anyway it was covered in fuzz. I dont know if this is from it sitting or if it id from a fungus. there is now one other baby that looks like it might have a little bit of fuzz on its tail. I am going to separate him today but i dont know if they are to young to have a salt bath they are about 3 weeks old right now. Also I plan on selling them when they are older does anyone know if I can sell them of here and how to go about it? I didn't see a for sale forum. Thank you!

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
