Hi, hopefully I'm.posting this in the right place... I'm in Norfolk, UK and I have some 1 week old axolotl babies.. I really need to find some tiny daphnia.. or any daphnia in fact, to drive thru for small ones. Or any advice on what else I could give them to eat please? Thank you :)

There is a seller on Aquabid who sells daphnia from the UK, you might want to look there. Otherwise my best recommendation would be to go to an aquarium society meeting near you. Members tend to bring live foods to sell at auction.

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
