I´ve seen that it wasn´t any group dedicated exclusively to Paramesotriton and Laotriton so I made one. Exclusively to Warty newt lovers. So if you keep Paramesotriton or Laotriton join in! I want to learn and maybe teach something about these amazing Chinese huge beasts!
All the best,

great!!! I'll join. Don't keep them yet (anymore). But I'm interested in these species.

Well done!

Nice. Thanks for joining in we count with 5 people already:happy: Hope many more people join in!

Well I do not know anything of these Asian beasts , but as I have in mind to keep some in the future, I can begin to learn something!
You can count on me mate!

cheers

I have two of them, pictures can be seen in my profile.

I love em, although one of them is in quarantine.

Possibly help in identifying her ailment? Pictures can be seen in my profile also.

Thanks!

Oh, and can I join your group? Do I have to click on something? I'm new to forums.

You are free to join. Everybody that wants to join, join. Just go to my profile, click in that group and add your self to it.
Cheers,

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
