Will juvenile axolotls still regenerate limbs?

Unfortunately one of my 2" axolotls was nipped at by a larger axolotl in their grow tank and now is missing its back legs. Will they regrow well like in adult axolotls? Right now I have it in a small tupperware bin so it may recover. Any tips?

Yep it'll heal. I suggest putting the little one in a breeder box in the tank, use a divider or a separate tank until it's the same size as the others. Sometimes they regrow limbs kinda weird, but something should grow back at least lol
