Hello Folks,
May i ask if it is advisable to keep Frogs and Caudates is same fridge?
i keep all my Caudates in a wine fridge to cool them properly.
each species is housed in their own enclosure and not mixed with each other.

Recently i have taken some interest in Bombina orientalis Oriental fire-bellied toad
these small colorful frogs also require cooler temps around 18-26C
i am looking to house a trio of these frogs in their own enclosure but will be in the same wine fridge to cool them.

Is there any danger of doing so?
transmitting diseases and toxins?

Thanks and cheers!

If you have own instruments for each box (or sterilize them between tanks) I'd think you avoid illness that spread by contact (also good hygiene in hands!). When thinking illness spreading airways, I wonder how far can a newt/toad/frog breethe. I mean if a person has flu, isn't it said that viruses/bacteria can go many meters when coughing or sneezing. If it's such a small animal, might that be only 15-50 centimeters??? So it'd stay inside the tank. But I'm no expert, just guessing here so I hope somebody else will comment, too!
