I had a batch of T. karelinii eggs laid last fall. They are now "morphing," so to speak, and are about 2in. long. I seem to recall their parents being at least an inch longer when they morphed. Does anyone know what the average size should be or does it vary?
also, I am being eaten out of apartment and home. How long after morphing is it an appropriate time to sell them? when their gills disappear, or when their skin gets rough?
