Haha yeah I can see that, like I said Ambrose seems to like riding the current from my pump XD

Thanks for the info though :) Good to know!

Aw adorable. Yeah mine seems to like perching on top of these fake grass bundles that are in the tank, and spreading her legs and gripping onto different strands haha.

And thanks :) Glad to know I'm not the only one~

Ya, mine used to float at the top as well, I usually just put her in a smaller container with lowered water level so that she could touch the bottom and feel secure for a couple days and put her back in, it usually works. She doesn't have any problems now though ;)

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
