I know that I have a normal Leucistic, and what I believe is a gfp Leucistic but I have been un able to find a picture of a gfp Leucistic that resembles my Stitch. Could someone please help me with this color. Just want to know if I am calling it the right color. Honestly I dont care if its a gfp or not just want to know.
I am starting to think both my babies are boys but it is too soon to tell.
Trying to wait patiently. hehe

Yeah, he looks like he could be GFP. You should get a black light and shine it on him to see if he glows.

Almost definately a GFP leucistic. Look at the greenish tint in the eye (first photo of the second batch),a dead giveaway.

Regards Neil

Thank you so much for the opinions. I will be getting a black light soon. I really appriciate the help.

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
